Responsibilities
- Contributes to business growth by identifying, prioritizing, and evaluating potential business opportunities and/or M&A activities that will sustain growth and competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Partners with key stakeholders to enhance internal and external review and consideration of potential opportunities
- Works collaboratively across Enterprise and supports business units in assessing the strategic, financial, and operational fit of potential partners
- Leads diligence processes for acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, coordinating cross-functional teams across finance, legal, technology, operations, risk and business units
- Creates and oversees the creation of financial models and valuation scenarios
- Builds and manages relationships with the external ecosystem including key industry players, potential partners/targets, and investment bankers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A, strategic partnerships, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategy consulting, transaction advisory, or enterprise strategy
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration), relevant graduate degree (MBA) highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience evaluating, structuring, or supporting acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, or other strategic growth opportunities
- Prior experience with financial modeling, valuation, diligence, business case development, and deal negotiation strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of corporate finance and financial business law concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and preparing recommendations for senior executives
- Superior oral communication, written presentation skills, including executive-level presentation skills
