About the role

The Coordinating & Commissioning Director, Controls and Implementation, Technology Implementation, Utility PM at STACK INFRASTRUCTURE (STACK) is responsible for overseeing the coordination and commissioning processes to ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of data center controls and utilities. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to make persuasive decisions based on analytics, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination and commissioning of data center controls and utilities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement utility management strategies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to facility operations staff to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, utility management, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Experience with data center controls, HVAC systems, and utility management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data center standards and regulations.
  • Experience with commissioning and testing of HVAC systems.
  • Understanding of energy management and sustainability principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
