Director-Contracting and Purchasing

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for contracting and purchasing with a long-term vision
• Lead and mentor the Contracting & Purchasing staff
• Oversee management of the Opportunity Tracking Report and savings tracking
• Integrate Value Analysis with clinical supply chain management
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to enhance the procure-to-pay process
• Manage logistics operations and ensure adherence to budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of healthcare supply chain leadership experience
• Proven track record in contract negotiations
• Strong understanding of supplier performance management
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in healthcare environment
• Experience with ERP/MMIS systems
• Leadership skills with a focus on team development
