Director, Content Platform
About the role
IHG is transforming its enterprise content management capabilities—collecting, creating, managing, and syndicating visual assets and descriptive content at scale. This new role will collaborate with a larger integrated operations team to serve enterprise-wide requirements. The Director, Content Practice and Operations Lead will oversee the administration, optimization, and enhancement of asset files and descriptive text across the enterprise platform, focusing on delivering content velocity and quality.
Administration includes usage rights management, contractual negotiations, enterprise partnerships, and maintaining guidelines for corporate and franchise stakeholders. Optimization involves day-to-day oversight of workflows, approvals, standards, governance, and process simplification across stakeholder groups. Enhancement covers improving content capture, automation, QA/QC at the platform level, and manual cross-platform content refinement. As the platform matures, responsibilities will expand to include 3D modeling, predictive and generative AI, and advanced visual enhancement capabilities.
This is a client-facing, service-oriented role reporting directly to the Global Head of Content, initially managing a team of three, with potential growth over time.
