Director, Consumer Experience

Global Marketing Technologies works with marketing partners and digital agencies around the globe to deliver data-driven, world-class experiences for consumers on a standard technology stack. As Director, Consumer Experience, you will lead products and activities that enable and simplify processes for best-in-class marketing teams worldwide. The role focuses on customer data management, engineering support, online marketing, customer engagement, and loyalty while delivering thoughtful, delightful experiences.
This position requires a well-organized, data-driven thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You will translate big-picture ideas into actionable, detailed tasks and drive process improvement in a dynamic setting. The role interfaces daily with business teams across The Coca-Cola Company, requiring clear communication and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and third-party technical, legal, customer experience, marketing, product, and licensing teams to define requirements, plan delivery, and implement solutions for global marketing teams.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to technical execution.
- Develop and launch the vision, strategy, and roadmap for products, working with stakeholders to deliver on that vision.
- Proactively anticipate risks, changes, and bottlenecks; provide escalation management and make trade-offs.
- Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and drive success.
- Own backlogs for dedicated engineering teams, writing user stories, grooming the backlog, and prioritizing on behalf of the business.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and interface with highly technical teams, requiring a deep understanding of underlying platforms, architecture, and code-level design.
- Lead UAT strategy and planning sessions, serving as a liaison to developers and assisting with troubleshooting as needed.
- Manage and provide technical guidance to internal teams and external partners (onshore and offshore).
- Demonstrate deep empathy for the customer and the experiences provided.
- Analyze issues and performance using qualitative and quantitative tools, embracing a test/learn/iterate mindset.
- Work with large, geographically distributed teams on complex initiatives, exhibiting an innovative mindset to push through adversity.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product or program management with a demonstrable track record of launching products end-to-end.
- Proven experience owning product roadmaps, strategy, and definition.
- Working knowledge of database marketing concepts and CRM technology.
- Experience partnering on API development, data infrastructure, data-heavy projects, and working with technical service providers.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Well-rounded understanding of customer experiences, user journeys, and user flows.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and development practices.
- Skilled at creating best-in-class user stories and requirements documentation, communicating plans to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background or working knowledge of online advertising, user experiences, and web-based technologies.
- General manager/owner mentality with entrepreneurial drive and the ability to influence others.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, and planning across multiple teams.
- Highly adaptable, excellent communicator, and fast learner with an action-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Cloud and SaaS platforms, database systems, web services, and AWS technology.
- Background or understanding of data science practices and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM and Marketing Technology solutions.
- Working knowledge of Adobe platforms: Marketing Cloud, AEM, Campaign, Analytics, Forms, and Target.

Pay
Base pay range: $171,000 USD - $198,000 USD. Offer may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Annual Incentive Reference Value: 30% (market-based competitive value for the role, indicating performance at target).
