Director - Consulting & Advisory Services – Quantum - 656

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Leadership: Define the consulting strategy, service portfolio, and operating model.
• Advisory Delivery: Lead and deliver high-impact consulting engagements across one assigned vertical, personally advising on technically complex topics.
• Client Leadership: Guide senior client stakeholders and shape long-term advisory programs.
• Practice Development: Build methodologies, frameworks, and repeatable advisory assets.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop consulting and advisory personnel.
• Account Expansion: Drive growth through scoped advisory work and structured engagements.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with product, software, and research solutions teams.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Quantinuum at conferences, roundtables, and executive forums.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED minimum
• Minimum 8+ years' experience
• Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
• Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of C ina national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record operating at Partner, Associate Partner or VP-equivalent seniority within consulting, advisory, transformation, or strategic leadership firms
• Demonstrated ability to scope, sell, and deliver complex advisory programs.
• Deep technical expertise in a relevant domain, with the ability to engage credibly on quantum technologies and their practical application.
• Strong executive presence and capability to advise C-suite and technical leaders.
• Existing relationships within [one of Finance, Chemicals & Materials or Pharmaceuticals].
• Understanding of emerging technologies (quantum, AI/ML, HPC, cloud infrastructure) is preferred.

• The pay range for this role is $246,400 -- $308,000 annually.
• Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.

About the Role

The Director, Consulting & Advisory Services will define, build and lead Quantinuum's enterprise consulting and advisory capability, focused on helping organisations make informed, value-driven decisions about the adoption and deployment of quantum technologies. The role establishes consulting as a core commercial lever at Quantinuum, positioned between early-stage exploration, applied research, and scaled enterprise programmes.
