About the Role
Atlantic Group is hiring a Director (Compliance Consulting) to support regulatory compliance programs for hedge funds, private equity firms, asset managers, and other financial services organizations. This senior-level opportunity is ideal for an experienced compliance professional with a combination of in-house investment management and compliance consulting experience. The role will oversee client relationships, advise on complex regulatory matters, and contribute to business development within an established financial services consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise investment management clients on regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a senior compliance resource for clients by providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to regulatory and operational matters.
- Develop, review, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, testing programs, and regulatory documentation.
- Lead compliance assessments, risk reviews, and regulatory examination preparation while identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
- Provide guidance and training on investment management compliance, regulatory developments, and evolving industry requirements.
- Support client relationships and new business opportunities through presentations, proposals, and other business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; JD or advanced degree is preferred.
- 6–8 years of regulatory compliance experience within financial services, including hedge fund, private equity, asset management, or compliance consulting experience.
- Strong knowledge of SEC investment adviser regulations and investment management compliance is required; experience with CFTC, NFA, FINRA, or global regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance monitoring, reporting, and documentation tools.
Skills
- Strong client management, communication, analytical, research, and business development skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple engagements, advise senior stakeholders, and navigate changing regulatory priorities.
Pay
$180,000 – $230,000/year + bonus
