About the role

As the System Privacy Officer, you will oversee the System HIPAA privacy program and ensure policy implementation aligns with regulatory requirements. This role chairs the System Privacy Committee and collaborates closely with the IT Information Security Officer. You will lead privacy education initiatives for employees and medical staff system-wide and play a key role in the System Ethics and Compliance Program, with a focus on education efforts and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the System HIPAA privacy program and policy implementation.
• Chair the System Privacy Committee.
• Collaborate with the IT Information Security Officer.
• Plan, organize, and conduct privacy education for employees and medical staff system-wide.
• Contribute to the System Ethics and Compliance Program, emphasizing education and policy development.

Requirements

• 2 years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
