The firm's expertise in valuation analysis, particularly for complex financial instruments, has led to the establishment of a dedicated Valuation Services group, which has grown significantly over the years.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in the valuation of equity compensation, complex capital structures, earnouts, convertible debt, and various other complex assets and liabilities.
  • Lead a team of Associates and Senior Associates in project execution and report development.
  • Oversee financial analysis and the development of narrative reports.
  • Manage client relationships and present valuation conclusions during client meetings and due diligence calls.
  • Review and supervise the work of Senior Associates and Associates.
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors and Senior Directors on due diligence and methodology decisions.
  • Create a learning environment by providing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in practice management and business development activities under the guidance of Managing Directors.

Core Qualifications

  • 7+ years of valuations and modeling experience at a Big 4, consulting firm, investment bank, or independent valuation firm.
  • Experience conducting financial analyses and financial modeling for complex financial instruments and securities.
  • A strong educational background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • An advanced understanding of financial statements and various valuation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and previous project team management experience.
  • Experience with financial programming tools like Octave, Python, MatLab, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Effective project management and organizational skills.

Compensation Statement

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 annually, contingent upon various factors including education, experience, skills, and location. A&M also offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. For more details, please ask your recruiter.
