About the role
The successful candidate will lead a team of compensation professionals and serve as a key strategic partner across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the company's compensation philosophy, ensuring alignment with business strategy, labor market conditions, and financial objectives.
- Design and manage scalable compensation programs that support retention and performance, ensure market competitiveness, and promote pay equity.
- Oversee the annual global compensation cycle, including merit increases, promotions, bonus planning, and long-term incentives, in alignment with the company's pay-for-performance philosophy.
- Own enterprise job architecture and leveling frameworks; ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness across all levels and functions.
- Leverage Workday and compensation data to support planning, reporting, data governance, and continuous process improvement.
- Provide strategic compensation guidance to HRBPs and business leaders on hiring decisions, promotions, and market adjustments, while ensuring compliance with FLSA and applicable global compensation regulations.
- Design and deliver compensation communication materials that educate HRBPs and business leaders on the company's compensation programs and pay-for-performance philosophy.
- Partner with HR leadership to establish and maintain compensation governance, controls, and decision-making frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable compensation regulations, including pay equity, pay transparency, and FLSA wage and hour requirements.
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 3–5 compensation professionals while building strong cross-functional relationships with HR Systems, HRBPs, HR Operations, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience with extensive exposure to compensation processes, including broad-based compensation design and administration.
- Prior experience managing and developing teams.
- Deep knowledge of job architecture, market pricing methodologies, pay equity governance, and implementing pay-for-performance compensation programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification preferred.
- Exposure to international and global compensation programs.
- Experience with Workday's Advanced Compensation planning module.
