Director, Communications Strategy & Operational Excellence

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Communications Strategy & Operational Excellence to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will shape enterprise communications strategy and strengthen the operating model that supports a global organization. The Director will partner closely with communications leadership to establish governance, decision-making rhythms, and standard work that improve alignment, consistency, and execution. In addition, this leader will build capability across distributed teams, helping drive disciplined process improvement and operational effectiveness. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $140,000 – $190,000 annually Responsibilities Partner with communications leadership to develop and sustain the enterprise communications long-range strategy Design and enable operating rhythms, governance forums, and decision-making cadences for communications leadership Serve as the continuous improvement capability lead within communications operations, coaching leaders on transactional process improvement Build foundational and sustained capability across global communications teams in continuous improvement fundamentals Maintain enterprise-wide standard work for communications, ensuring clarity and consistent review cycles Qualifications 10+ years of experience in continuous improvement, strategic planning, PMO leadership, or enterprise-level communications operations within complex, global organizations Bachelor's degree required Advanced continuous improvement practitioner certification with enterprise-scale experience applying continuous improvement tools Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities supported by financial and business acumen Demonstrated ability to orchestrate complex, multi-workstream initiatives through influence Benefits Comprehensive health care programs including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off to support work-life balance 401(k) retirement savings plan for eligible employees Flexible, remote working arrangements available for eligible roles Opportunities for professional development and career growth Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
