Director, Commercial Supply Chain Consulting

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Commercial Supply Chain Consulting to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives across various industries
• Assess current-state operating models and identify improvement opportunities
• Design future-state supply chain architectures incorporating advanced technologies
• Advise executives on supply chain modernization aligned with strategic goals
• Develop and optimize supply chain strategies tailored to operating environments
• Lead demand forecasting and S&OP initiatives balancing service reliability with cost objectives
• Implement supplier risk assessment and continuous improvement programs

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain consulting or operations roles with impact on strategy and execution
• Prior consulting experience at Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations including planning, procurement, and logistics
• Proven ability to assess current-state operating models and design scalable solutions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
