Director, Clinical Systems

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Clinical Systems to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will oversee the strategy, development, and delivery of clinical system roadmaps that support R&D priorities and broader business objectives. The role partners closely with technology and functional stakeholders to align system capabilities, manage change, and drive adoption. It will also help ensure clinical systems remain inspection-ready, deliver measurable value, and stay aligned with emerging vendor and innovation trends.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with functional and cross-functional stakeholders
• Collaborate with R&D and technology teams for roadmap development
• Lead the development and delivery of clinical system roadmaps
• Ensure inspection readiness of clinical systems
• Support change management and promote roadmap initiatives
• Track value realization for system investments
• Stay informed on vendor and innovation landscape for clinical systems

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in clinical systems management or a related field
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proven ability to manage budgets and forecast expenses
• Experience in stakeholder relationship management
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and inspection readiness

Pay

$177,000 – $278,080 annually
