Director Clinical Services- Pediatric Behavioral Health
About the role
Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is dedicated to providing behavioral health and psychiatric support to children and teens ages 3 to 17. Above all else, we treat every patient with compassion and respect. Using evidence-based treatment approaches and individualized care, we strive to instill hope in our patients, their families, and our community. We are seeking an exceptional Director of Clinical Services to join our team of dedicated behavioral health professionals. The Director of Clinical Services has 24/7 responsibility for the provision of quality clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Supervising all clinical program activities and interactions with patients for all in-patient units
- Designing and leading implementation of clinical services and programming, as well as ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives
- Assessing the quality of our clinical programming and social service provision to patients and families
- Assuring maintenance of standards for quality clinical services as defined by professional bodies, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and other accrediting organizations
Requirements
- Education: Masters or Doctorate Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology required
- Experience: 3+ years experience working with a psychiatric mental health population in an acute inpatient setting, one + year supervisory experience
Qualifications
The Director of Clinical Services must demonstrate knowledge and skills in provision of services to a varied population including children, adolescents, preadolescents and adult patients in an inpatient and partial hospitalization program.
