Director, Clinical Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Clinical Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. In this remote leadership role, you will help shape the scientific direction of clinical studies with a strong focus on oncology and hematology programs. You will partner closely with clinical operations, medical, regulatory, and external research collaborators to advance protocols, support data review, and strengthen the scientific quality of study execution. The role also plays a key part in safety oversight, scientific communications, and regulatory documentation that support development milestones. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $192,000 – $239,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and contribute to study design and amendments with scientific stakeholders Collaborate with MDs and regulatory partners on protocols and regulatory documentation Work with clinical operations and CRO partners to implement data quality plans and conduct safety trend analysis Serve as point of contact for clinical inquiries from CRO medical monitors Develop clinical presentation materials for internal and external communications Partner with clinical operations and CRO partners on study startup documents Participate in safety meetings and analyze documentation for safety events Develop communications strategies for studies, including KOL interactions and publications Write and review abstracts and materials for scientific meetings Coordinate submissions to scientific venues Write clinical science sections for regulatory submissions and documentation Qualifications MS or equivalent required; PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred 5+ years of related experience with PhD or equivalent; 2+ years in oncology/hematology clinical studies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Expertise in interpreting immunology/immuno-oncology translational data and clinical data Benefits Comprehensive health insurance Retirement savings plan Professional development opportunities Flexible work arrangements Collaborative work environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
