Director Clinical Development, Solid Tumors, GI

About the role

The Director, Clinical Development position is part of BeOne's ongoing expansion, seeking a highly motivated professional with a passion for oncology and clinical development. This role involves supporting clinical development programs, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with global guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the creation, updating, and reviewing of key documents including protocols, informed consent forms, clinical study reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.
• Partner with clinical operations and other functional areas to implement and execute clinical studies.
• Provide scientific expertise for selecting investigators and vendors, and train colleagues and study site staff.
• Support the scientific and medical aspects of clinical trials, interpret and present data, and represent clinical studies on advisory boards.
• Build and maintain relationships with opinion leaders and organize meetings.
• Contribute to therapeutic area research and competitor analysis, and identify process improvements and resource needs.
• Develop and execute goals and objectives, and manage budgets and resources.
• Ensure compliance with clinical development processes and regulations.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with 5+ years of experience in clinical development, preferably in oncology.
• Expertise in global clinical study design and drug development processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence at all levels.
• Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines, and experience with clinical development IT solutions.
