Director, Client Sales

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Client Sales to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Client Sales team in the Central Region
• Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and execute strategies to quickly enhance add-on sales
• Articulate product value propositions to potential clients
• Negotiate and close deals while addressing objections
• Support Client Sales Team in closing new business opportunities
• Travel for client meetings and attend industry trade shows

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience with a quota
• Experience leading teams of 5+ and managing quotas
• Proven success in building new business pipelines within financial institutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for all organizational levels
• Ability to articulate technical product details and solutions
• High ethical standards and a determined approach to success
• Ability to analyze and address prospect needs in context of products
