The Director of Care Navigation Product is responsible for driving the enterprise strategy, vision, and portfolio evolution of Marathon Health’s Care Navigation solutions. This includes the productization of existing services and incubation of new, scaled offerings to enhance longitudinal care capabilities. You will lead the creation and orchestration of a closed loop, high-value care experience that lowers cost, improves outcomes, and reduces patient friction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Define and own Marathon Health’s care navigation product portfolio strategy, including vision, roadmap, investment prioritization, and performance outcomes.
- Provide enterprise-level strategic leadership for all Marathon Health product areas specific to care navigation, working in partnership with primary care to reduce fragmentation in the care experience and meaningfully reduce the most expensive drivers of healthcare spend.
- Define and leverage advanced analytics and performance metrics to drive personalized, outcome-based multi-channel care delivery.
- Architect and oversee a seamless, scalable navigation experience across a hybrid ecosystem of internal clinical services and external partners.
- Lead, collaborate and align cross-functionally to develop, evangelize, and drive adoption of innovative solutions to help grow the suite of services available.
- Own portfolio governance, including prioritization frameworks, funding decisions, and trade-off management.
- Responsible for crafting and driving the strategic direction of Care Navigation products, and accountable for driving tactical initiatives through planning, business process management, program/project management, and change management.
- Define and maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap with clear business cases, measurable KPIs, and executive visibility.
- Develop a deep understanding of users, markets, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and differentiation.
- Lead market research and validation to identify growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
- Develop processes needed to effectively develop, document, implement and operate a core set of products.
- Partner with market leaders and executives to drive product performance and results.
- Drive initiatives cross-functionally with technology, marketing, sales, and operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated commercial product management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of leadership experience, including managing and developing product teams and driving cross-functional initiatives at scale.
- Experience in a startup/fast-growing company with a history of bringing products from concept to market in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience driving portfolio-level strategy and execution, including business case development, investment prioritization, lifecycle management, and performance measurement.
- Experience owning or influencing P&L, budgeting, and financial outcomes preferred.
