The Director, Business Platforms - Product Management role is based in the United States. This leadership position involves shaping and delivering digital product strategies that support healthcare and laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead product strategy, roadmap development, and execution for digital platforms supporting healthcare and laboratory operational functions.
- Partner with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges and translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
- Own the full product lifecycle, including ideation, requirements definition, implementation, optimization, and ongoing platform support.
- Drive modernization and integration initiatives across key business platforms, including CRM systems, revenue cycle management solutions, sample management systems, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with laboratory operations, client services, billing, reimbursement, engineering, IT teams, and external vendors to improve workflows and enhance user experiences.
- Manage enterprise integrations involving CRM platforms, revenue cycle management systems, laboratory operational tools, and related technologies.
- Define product requirements, business cases, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics to measure product effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain Agile product management practices, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure platforms meet healthcare compliance, security, reliability, and operational performance requirements.
- Mentor product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams while promoting product excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support organizational initiatives and strategic projects aligned with business objectives and operational growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital product management, with proven success leading enterprise technology initiatives.
- Strong experience supporting healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, genomic, or other regulated healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated expertise managing business platforms, operational workflows, and complex system integrations.
- Experience with CRM, revenue cycle management, laboratory systems, reporting platforms, and enterprise software solutions.
- Strong understanding of Agile product management methodologies and experience leading product delivery teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for improving operational processes and user experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree in a science-related field or MBA.
- Experience with genomics, molecular diagnostics, clinical laboratory workflows, sample lifecycle management, reimbursement processes, healthcare interoperability, or integration technologies.
