Director Business Development

About the role

Support growth and partnership development throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with healthcare organizations, including health systems, accountable care organizations (ACOs), provider networks, value-based care partners, and other key referral sources.
• Serve as a trusted partner and ambassador for Empath Health, building executive-level relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating strategic partnerships, and collaborating with internal leaders to expand access to hospice and post-acute care services across the market.
• Represent Empath Health at industry events, community meetings, and networking opportunities throughout the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5)+ years of business development, strategic partnership, healthcare growth, or related experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence executive-level stakeholders and referral partners.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of healthcare market dynamics and value-based care environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties and other areas within Florida as needed.
