Serve as a strategic partner to business leadership by translating business questions, priorities, and decisions into clear, actionable requirements for the data and analytics team
Carefully align analytics initiatives with business goals through effective coordination with executive stakeholders, operational teams, and technical teams
Present insights, dashboards, business performance trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and board-level audiences
Proactively identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational gaps before they surface through standard reporting channels
Drive adoption of BI dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled decision-making tools across the organization
Help establish a data-driven culture by improving analytical fluency and decision-making processes company-wide
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable analytics solutions and reporting infrastructure
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries within platforms like Snowflake to support high-quality analytics and operational reporting
- Build and own dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders
- Partner with Data Engineering on data models, transformations and reporting structures
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and documentation are maintained across all analytics assets
- Drive BI adoption through enablement, training, support and stakeholder engagement
Own the vision, architecture, and governance of the analytics layer, reporting views, and BI
Identify gaps in reporting capabilities and lead initiatives to expand analytics maturity and scalability
Propose solutions, and deliver new data capabilities
Establish best practices and standards for analytics development, testing, QA, and documentation
Improve enterprise-wide data literacy and promote best practices for data-informed decision-making across the company
Evaluate and implement modern analytics tools, AI capabilities, and reporting technologies that improve organizational effectiveness
Required
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data strategy, or a related field, including experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Advanced SQL expertise with experience developing and maintaining production-grade analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
- Ability to partner with business leaders and translate strategic objectives into scalable data and analytics solutions
- Very strong experience building dashboards and reports in a modern BI and visualization tools
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or build-stage environment
- Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot, Sigma
- Familiarity with dbt or similar analytics engineering and transformation tools
- Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Operations analytics
- Exposure to SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, and churn
- Experience partnering across functions
- Experience driving BI adoption, self-service analytics, and enterprise reporting governance
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics tools and modern data platform best practices
