Director - Behavioral Science Training (Family Medicine Residency Program)

Work Location: Family Medicine Center, Beaver Falls PA
Work Hours: Weekday/Daylight – Monday through Friday

About the role

Responsible for the development and implementation of a behavioral science rotation for the residents, including lectures, conferences, and other educational activities focusing on aspects of behavioral science. Supervises residents in doctor/patient encounters from a behavioral science point of view.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in the behavioral science field
• Experience in teaching, psychotherapy, and working in a team situation with adults
• Proficient in the use of a computer to send and receive email and create Word documents and PowerPoint presentations
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment

Preferred Qualifications

• A doctorate
• Professional certification in a state or nationally recognized behavioral science group
• Prior experience with the practice of medicine, in both the hospital and office setting
