Responsibilities
- Define the education vision and develop curriculum for onboarding and ongoing education
- Hire and lead an initial team, establishing clear roles and priorities
- Build reinforcement mechanisms for education, including certifications and coaching feedback
- Establish service and selling standards for customer engagement
- Spend time in-store to test curriculum and partner with field leadership
- Oversee the transition from vendor-led to the company-owned education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7–10 years in education, learning & development, or capability building
- Proven record of linking education to commercial outcomes like sales and service
- Experience in customer-facing retail environments
- Strong team-building and leadership skills
- Hands-on builder mentality, ready to create from scratch
