Director, Bank Origination

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Bank Origination to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead partner onboarding, relationship ownership, and ongoing program performance across sponsored lending initiatives. The Director will work closely with internal risk, operations, and audit stakeholders to ensure compliance, operational discipline, and strong financial outcomes. It is a highly cross-functional position that blends strategic partner management with hands-on execution in a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Assist with due diligence and onboarding of new partners Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned programs Foster long-term collaborations with partners Oversee day-to-day operations and partner performance Monitor performance against contractual requirements and financial KPIs Ensure program compliance and operational efficiency across multiple programs Collaborate with internal teams for risk management and audit readiness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or financial services, including at least 3 years in third-party management or operations management Experience in sponsored lending and lending products is essential Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management Familiarity with banking regulations and third-party risk management guidelines Benefits Opportunity to work closely with innovative fintech partners Engagement in a role that blends strategic vision with hands-on execution Access to professional development opportunities in fintech and banking compliance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
