About the role

Lead a team of onsite AV Support Engineers responsible for day-to-day end-user AV support as well as the maintenance and break/fix of conference and meeting rooms hardware.
Manage inventories, budgets and life cycle management.
Develop and execute strategic new initiatives to enhance AV services.
Ensure project plans are on target and executed comprehensively.
Monitor the live event program and find opportunities to execute more efficiently and delight our customers.
Be an escalation point for the team and provide technical leadership to appropriate personnel.
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Manage and optimize relationships with vendors that augment your team’s capacity and capabilities.
Create regular reports to share insights with leadership.

Requirements

You are strategic and influenced by Technology and Culture but balance that with execution of daily tasks to maintain a high bar for customer service. You have experience both in building out AV infrastructure and supporting live events. Being a leader and developing yourself and your team are important to you. Not every problem will have a clear starting point so you should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity to assess and manage risks and have situational awareness to anticipate and resolve potential issues. You always attempt to look for the root cause of an issue and solve problems with a bigger picture in mind. You take responsibility, set your standards high and see every failure as an opportunity to learn.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical team management experience
  • Knowledge of networking and desktop technology and proven methods for providing innovative solutions to customers
  • Experience in technical team management
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure Operations, IT Service Management or IT Business Operations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Master of Business Administration, or Master's degree in a technical field
  • Knowledge of core internet technologies, including DHCP, DNS, mail transport, TCP/IP, and network file systems
  • Experience in procurement, inventory and asset management of IT equipment as well as IT lifecycle
  • Experience with service delivery and service level management
