About the Role

The Konrad Group of Primrose Schools is seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Executive Director to lead with purpose. This role involves more than just managing a school—it's about building a strong team, creating an exceptional culture, growing enrollment, and ensuring an outstanding experience for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop teachers and management team members
• Create a positive, professional, and accountable school culture
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain exceptional employees
• Drive enrollment and build strong relationships with prospective and current families
• Maintain high standards for customer service and family satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, health, safety, and Primrose standards
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, and operational expenses
• Partner with the Curriculum and Admissions teams to achieve school goals
• Maintain high standards for classroom quality and implementation of the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach
• Build relationships within the local community
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable
• Identify challenges early and develop solutions rather than simply reacting to problems

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in early childhood education
• Experience directing a licensed childcare or preschool program
• Understanding of Texas childcare licensing requirements
• Comfort with leading and developing a large team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle parent concerns and difficult conversations confidently
• Knowledge of enrollment, retention, staffing, and school operations
• Commitment to taking ownership and following through on commitments
• Leadership style characterized by professionalism, integrity, consistency, and positivity
• Passion for coaching others and helping employees grow into future leaders
