About the Role
We are looking for new talent to join Adelphi Research, where we conduct market research—both qualitative and quantitative—exclusively in the pharmaceutical space. Our work provides insights that help bring new drugs to market, fundamentally impacting the lives of patients with conditions such as oncology, neuroscience, immunology, diabetes, and others. Responsibilities
- Design and implement qualitative research studies at all stages of the drug life cycle for pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
- Generate sales and repeat business by fostering strong client relationships and seeking referrals.
- Consult strategically to deliver insightful reports and presentations that align with clients’ strategies.
- Moderate telephone and in-person in-depth interviews and focus groups.
- Mentor junior and senior staff in qualitative market research and pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
- Explore and develop new market research techniques, solutions, and methods to deliver fresh insights or improve process efficiencies.
- Contribute to the company’s strategic direction through participation in senior leadership meetings.
- Build and expand new business relationships while nurturing existing client relationships in the pharmaceutical/biotech industries.
- Meet specific sales goals and demonstrate expertise in vendor/supplier market research, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing qualitative research studies for pharmaceutical/biotech industries.
- Deep understanding of market research needs for pharmaceutical and biotech products across the product life cycle (Phase 2 through Phase 4 clinical trials, pre-launch promotional development, in-line/mature products).
- Proven ability to elevate qualitative study results into business-focused, strategic, and insightful outcomes.
- Excellent presentation skills and experience leading collaborative teams of both senior and junior members.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; advanced education preferred.
Pay
$120,000 - $150,000
Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. This requirement may increase over time.
