Director, Association Actuarial Pricing
About the role
The Director, Association Actuarial Pricing will primarily work with product, pricing, and financial underwriting teams to promote new product and pricing initiatives. This role will interact with various teams including Group Insurance Account Management, Association Sales, Finance, Actuarial, Group Insurance and Individual Life Product, Financial Underwriting, IT, Group Insurance Law, GUL/GVUL Customer Service, Medical Underwriting, and Claims.
Responsibilities
- Develop pricing methods and support product development
- Support case level pricing and underwriting consultation
- Advise management on the expected impact of group insurance assumption updates
- Drive process improvements and technology transformations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Interpret and provide technical guidance for Group Long Term Care rerate state filings
- Own the GGY AXIS model for Group Life Insurance
- Review and provide technical guidance for Group Variable Universal Life prospectus
- Assist in the development and enhancement of new products, including assumption development, understanding reserve and capital requirements, modeling, and pricing
Requirements
- Professional actuarial designation (FSA, FIA, or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience, including Group Insurance experience with product development, pricing, actuarial, and financial projections
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Pay
$158,800.00 to $238,200.00 annually

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid or virtual and may require on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business, dependent on the candidate's location.
