Director, Artificial Intelligence
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team or teams of analysts that provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large.
- Leads project teams to design and develop of program methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse "big data" sources.
- Communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service and business management to be incorporated into the measuring of effective business processes.
- Performs complex statistical and data-mining analysis, using statistical tools like R, SAS and MATLAB.
- Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis.
- Helps business groups understand their data by applying analytics to derive insights and works with business units to determine actions and KPI for those actions; input on effective strategies.
- Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments; Identifies correlations on how an understanding beyond what is measured today can be established, based on a deep knowledge of the business and environment.

- Recognized as “guru” or external expert in a function.
- Demonstrates broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies within own field.
- Influences internal/external business and/or regulatory issues that have an impact on the business.
- Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership.
- Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems; uses ground-breaking methods to think beyond existing solutions.
- Impacts business direction through the development of innovative services or products.
- Interpersonal Skills: Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators or vendors to influence decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Experience with statistical tools like R, SAS, and MATLAB.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $210,000.00 - $289,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
