About the role

The Director, Alliance Management will lead strategic alliances within the Oncology therapeutic area of the Pharmaceutical Group. Key responsibilities include leading post-deal and day-to-day alliance activities to shape and achieve strategic objectives, establishing clear communication lines across the partnership, anticipating and resolving potential issues, negotiating ancillary agreements and amendments, and ensuring the highest quality relationship possible.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years related experience, working in a scientific, technical or commercial organization
  • Experience developing and managing timelines, budgets and similar details on multiple large-scale projects or in a significant line capacity
  • Experience in managing and working in a team environment, with a proven ability to mobilize and align diverse groups across multiple functions and companies to build interdependent partnerships
  • An understanding of drug development
  • Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, negotiation, and decision making
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to manage complexities, think strategically and exercise good judgment

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree is required
  • An advanced degree (MS, MBA, Ph.D., etc.) in a scientific, technical or commercial field is preferred
  • Experience in Operations or Program Management is preferred
  • Experience developing and managing timelines, budgets and similar details on multiple large-scale projects or in a significant line capacity is required
  • Experience in managing and working in a team environment is required, with a proven ability to mobilize and align diverse groups across multiple functions and companies to build interdependent partnerships
  • An understanding of drug development is required
  • Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, negotiation, and decision making will be needed, in addition to experience in working with senior levels within the organization

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.

Schedule

This position can be based in Springhouse, PA, Titusville, New Brunswick or Raritan, NJ and will require up to 25% domestic and international travel.
