About the role
Wipro is seeking an experienced Industry 4.0 Consulting Leader to drive integrated digital transformation programs across manufacturing clients. This role will lead strategy consulting, solutioning, and large-scale execution across:
- PLM-led Digital Thread & Product Lifecycle transformation
- Connected Enterprise (OT + IoT)
- Industrial AI / Data-driven smart manufacturing
The leader will combine domain depth, consulting, and technology expertise to deliver measurable outcomes such as productivity improvement, cost optimization, and accelerated innovation.
Responsibilities
- Client Advisory & Transformation Leadership
- Engage CXOs (COO, CIO, CTO, Chief Digital/Engineering leaders) to define Industry 4.0 vision and roadmap
- Lead digital maturity assessments and value discovery workshops
- Shape enterprise-wide transformation programs spanning shop-floor to enterprise systems
- Build ROI-led business cases and investment strategies
- Integrated Solutioning (Industry DOT + PLM + AI)
- Define end-to-end architecture and digital thread, integrating:
- PLM → ERP → Manufacturing → Aftermarket lifecycle
- Disconnected OT systems → Connected Enterprise (IoT / Edge / MES)
- Data platforms → Industrial AI / GenAI enablement
- Design solutions across:
- Smart factory, predictive maintenance, quality analytics
- Digital twins, asset intelligence, engineering transformation
- Ensure IT/OT convergence and interoperability
- Define end-to-end architecture and digital thread, integrating:
- Practice Development & Go-To-Market
- Shape and position Wipro’s Industry 4.0 integrated offerings (Industry DOT + PLM + AI) across global clients
- Support deal shaping, proposals, and large transformation pursuits
- Build reusable assets, accelerators, and consulting frameworks
- Strengthen partnerships with OEMs, ISVs, hyperscalers, and ecosystem partners
- Work closely with ISVs to define and architect next-generation interoperability solutions
- Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and mentor high-performing consulting and delivery teams
- Drive consulting-led selling and solution convergence across practices, including product development initiatives with ISVs
- Establish governance models, KPIs, and transformation tracking
- Foster innovation and Industrial AI adoption across engagements
Skills & Competencies
Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain processes
- Strong experience in PLM/digital manufacturing/Industry 4.0 use cases
Technology Expertise
- OT & IoT: SCADA, PLC, Edge, Industrial IoT platforms
- Enterprise systems: PLM, MES, ERP (SAP/Oracle)
- Digital technologies: Cloud (Azure/AWS), Data platforms, AI/ML, Digital Twin
- Strong grounding in IT/OT convergence and smart factory architectures
Consulting & Leadership
- Strategic thinking and structured problem solving
- Executive stakeholder management (CXO engagement)
- Business case and value articulation
- Program, portfolio, and change management
Experience & Qualifications
- 15–20+ years in Industry 4.0 / Digital Manufacturing / Engineering Consulting
- Proven experience leading large, multi-country transformation programs
- Experience across PLM, IoT/OT, and AI convergence initiatives
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering; MBA preferred
- Preferred Location: NJ, US

Pay
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00 to $265,000.00. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
