Director, AI Forward Deployed Engineer - Remote

Major Accountabilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of agentic AI solutions for business-specific use cases and workflows.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and domain experts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee engineering execution for forward deployed AI initiatives (planning, prioritization, delivery, operational readiness).
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance.
• Drive integration with business systems, data sources, and operational processes for end-to-end workflows.
• Monitor solution performance and user feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with platform, data, infrastructure, and security teams for compliant deployment.
• Communicate progress, risks, and business impact to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (ideally in business, engineering, computer science, data science, or related field).
• 8+ years of AI engineering experience with a strong track record of leading product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery for complex digital, data, or AI-enabled products.
• Experience in AI and data-driven product environments, translating business needs into scalable solutions.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills collaborating with Engineering, Innovation, Design, Data Science, Commercial, and other teams.
• Experience managing and developing product managers or junior product leaders (coaching, prioritization, fostering best practices).
• Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills for evaluating opportunities and communicating vision.

Pay

Salary Range: $194,600.00 – $361,400.00 per year, plus performance-based cash incentive and potential annual equity awards. Comprehensive benefits include health, life, disability, 401(k) with company contribution and match, and generous time off (vacation, personal days, holidays, other leaves).
