Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and transformation roadmap for Sales and Marketing AI capabilities
  • Develop quantifiable business cases and value narratives for future Sales and Marketing capabilities
  • Engage with the US Oncology Leadership team (OLT) for top-down alignment on the AI roadmap and shared decisions on key capabilities
  • Set direction for building Sales and Marketing capabilities, prioritizing solutions that meet key business needs and are scalable and sustainable
  • Identify people and process changes required to successfully stand-up sales and marketing capabilities
  • Act as change leader, delivering the Customer2030 narrative for sales and marketing teams, partnering with Business Excellence and Franchise teams on the training plan
  • Ensure accurate and timely translation of business needs into technical requirements in partnership with Enterprise AI (data science)
  • Track progress and address key challenges and blockers creatively, escalating to senior leadership as necessary

Requirements

  • At least 5 years professional experience in a Pharma commercial function (or as part of a strategy consulting firm supporting the Pharma industry)
  • Strong analytical fluency, able to translate between brand strategy, commercial operations, and technology teams
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate successfully in highly matrixed organizations
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills with a consultative approach and ability to interact and build trust
  • Initiative to understand core business goals, setting direction, building alignment, and driving work forward
  • Resourcefulness, proactivity, and influence, able to prioritize in a fast-growing organization

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (MBA, Masters, MD or PhD preferred)
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in Oncology
