Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for advanced manufacturing engineering initiatives
• Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence
• Lead and manage a team of engineers to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies
• Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization
• Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong understanding of APQP processes
• Expertise in analyzing manufacturing data and metrics to drive improvements and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in leading large teams and managing cross-functional projects
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive change in a dynamic environment
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing
• PMP certification
