Job Summary

Fitch Solutions is seeking a Key Strategic Manager based out of their New York office. This role involves owning end-to-end commercial responsibility for a book of enterprise accounts, building deep executive relationships, and driving multi-product growth across the full Fitch Solutions portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of enterprise, multi-line strategic accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner and commercial point of contact.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-level account plans, identifying white space and coordinating execution across products and regions.
  • Lead the full renewal and negotiation process for your book, ensuring favorable terms that protect revenue and strengthen long-term client relationships.
  • Build and maintain senior and C-suite relationships across assigned accounts (e.g., CIO, CRO, Heads of Research, Trading, Risk, and Portfolio Management).
  • Lead complex, multi-year commercial agreements spanning multiple products, business units, and stakeholder groups.
  • Plan and deliver executive business reviews (EBRs) and other senior engagement touchpoints that reinforce Fitch Solutions as a mission-critical partner.
  • Direct end-to-end relationship management across the firm, coordinating with Customer Success Managers, Client Services, and Specialists to drive full-portfolio engagement.
  • Own Net Revenue Retention and expansion targets across your book of strategic accounts.
  • Research and prospect for growth opportunities across Credit Research and Ratings Data Services, Credit Risk Solutions, Industry and Country Macro Research and Data, and Sustainability solutions.
  • Partner with Sales Specialists, Product, and Customer Success to deliver coordinated, cross-functional account strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, high-confidence forecasting across renewals and expansion pipeline within your book.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM utilization and account planning discipline in line with segment standards set by the Segment Head.
  • Bring client and market insight back to the Segment Head and broader organization to help inform product, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience within financial services, data, or analytics, with a track record managing large or strategic institutional relationships.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of developing business and growing revenue streams with large institutional or enterprise clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships at the senior executive level, as well as across procurement and user levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with experience structuring complex, multi-product agreements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity, and perseverance.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written (PowerPoint a plus).

Qualifications

  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Travel: 20%.

Pay and Schedule

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $180,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
