Director, Academic Operations and Student Services
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. Let's extract content. About The Job paragraph: "The Director provides strategic governance, organizational design, and administrative leadership for CCAPS undergraduate and graduate academic operations and student services. Managing a multidisciplinary team of 8-9 direct reports, this role drives operational excellence and workflow efficiency across the student lifecycle using process mapping, data analytics, and AI-assisted enterprise tools. Operating with broad latitude in a complex environment, the position balances distinct undergraduate and graduate student services with academic capacity planning and fiscal sustainability. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 required in-office days weekly. There will be other days/times, including evenings when attendance is expected at unit/college/campus level events. It is a 12-month, continuous position. Please note, this position is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship." We'll put that in
under About the role. Key Responsibilities: It has sub-sections with percentages. We need to preserve details. Use
- for list of duties. Could break each bullet as a responsibility. The text includes paragraphs with bold headings. We'll convert each bullet point into
- . Might need to keep the percentages? Could include them inside li. We'll preserve.

We'll put all these under

Required/Minimum Qualifications: list.
- BA/BS degree plus at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred: maybe separate "Preferred Qualifications" but we can include under Qualifications as a sublist? The instruction says use headings for Qualifications. Could have one Qualifications section containing both required and preferred. But we could also have two sub-sections? Not required. We'll just list required and preferred as separate
- maybe with headings inside? But we cannot add extra headings not in list. Could embed preferred as part of same list but label? Might be okay to just list all qualifications (both required and preferred) in one list. However we risk losing distinction but still preserve all info. We'll include both.
Preferred items:
- Terminal degree or extensive experience navigating planning and operations within a complex higher education environment.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with faculty and academic leaders within a research institution.
- Proven capability to leverage enterprise platforms, reporting tools, process mapping, and emerging technologies (including AI tools) to optimize workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and direct management experience with large teams.
We'll combine.
Pay And Benefits section: we need separate Pay and Benefits headings.
Pay: "Pay Range: $92,000-$103,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience". Also note about initial pay may not reach maximum etc. That's substantive. We'll include that paragraph.
Benefits: list of benefits.
We need to extract benefits list:
- Competitive wages
- paid holidays
- generous time off
- Continuous learning opportunities through professional training and degree-seeking programs supported by the Regents Tuition Benefit Program
- Low-cost medical, dental, and pharmacy plans
- Healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts
- University HSA contributions
- Disability and employer-paid life insurance
- Employee wellbeing program
- Excellent retirement plans with employer contribution
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) opportunity
- Financial counseling services
- Employee Assistance Program with eight sessions of counseling at no cost
- Employee Transit Pass with free or reduced rates in the Twin Cities metro area
Also mention "While our salary ranges provide a framework, it is important to note that most of the time, the initial pay may not reach the maximum of the range. This approach ensures that compensation reflects the value and unique contributions of each candidate while maintaining equity within our organization. As part of our commitment to fair and equitable compensation, please be aware that the salary offered to incoming candidates will be based on their individual credentials and experience." That's more about pay, we can include in Pay section.
Schedule: hybrid position with 2-3 required in-office days weekly. There will be other days/times, including evenings when attendance is expected at unit/college/campus level events. It is a 12-month, continuous position. Also mention "Time Appointment: 100% Appointment Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff". That's schedule/type. We'll include schedule info.
We must not include "Please visit the Office of Human Resources website for more information regarding benefit eligibility." That's maybe boilerplate? It's a reference but could be considered minor metadata; we can drop.
Now construct HTML.
We'll start with maybe not needed; just headings and content.

Check for any repeated content: we included "This is a hybrid position..." both in About the role and Schedule; but About the role already includes that sentence. We might be duplicating. The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Duplication is okay if it's in original?
