About the role
The role involves providing direct support services to individuals in recovery from substance abuse. This includes facilitating therapy sessions, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate therapeutic sessions according to treatment plans
- Assist clients with medication management
- Support clients in developing coping strategies
- Maintain client records and reports
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in mental health or social services
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of addiction recovery principles
- Experience with crisis intervention techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
