Direct Support Professional Position Overview and Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Medication administration
• Personal cares

• Aid residents in obtaining transportation when necessary - including accompanying the resident into the community

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Able to do job tasks with little supervision
