Direct Support Professional (Weekends 3p-11p)

About the role

Townsbury Spec is a residential facility for behavioral-challenged children. We are seeking a flexible schedule, but our primary need is for hours/shifts from 3pm-11pm (Monday through Friday or on the weekends).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities
• Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber
• Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans
• Maintain a clean, safe environment
• Observe, document, and acknowledge positive behaviors
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred
• Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program, to achieve growth within the agency
• 1 year or more with a high school diploma working with youth in a behavioral group setting
• Must have a valid driver's license

Schedule

• Weekends: 3p-11p
• Per Diem/On-Call
