About the role
Empower adults with developmental disabilities to live full, meaningful lives through supporting essential life skills, maintaining independence, and encouraging active community participation.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in developing essential life skills
- Maintain independence in their own homes
- Encourage active participation as valued members of the community
Requirements
- No experience required: training provided
- Criminal history must be clear and pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Current CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance (preferred)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired, a 75-hour certification (Long-Term Care Worker) or exemption letter
- Preferred: Current NAR/CNA certification
