Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Aid with daily routines such as cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene
- Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report any concerns immediately
- Assist with the learning and development of independent and community-based skills
- Engage individuals in community, social, and recreational activities
- Transport individuals to medical appointments and other activities in the community
- Complete program documentation and billable records accurately and on time
- Build a support network for individuals by fostering relationships with community members, businesses, and families
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Good judgment and ability to remain calm in crisis situations
Qualifications
No prior experience is required. We provide paid training.

We are now hiring full-time, part-time, and PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides (Supported Living) in Philadelphia, PA to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
