Responsibilities
- You will lead and support a team of Paraeducators while helping ensure students receive exceptional care, educational support, and behavioral services in a safe, therapeutic environment.
- You will:
- Supervise, coach, train, and develop education staff
- Ensure student programs, behavior plans, and Safety Care practices are implemented consistently
- Help oversee daily campus operations, staffing, scheduling, and coverage
- Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, nursing staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor documentation, compliance, and staff performance
- Serve as an in-charge leader during assigned shifts, ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the program
- Most importantly, you'll help create an environment where students are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion while empowering staff to do their best work.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree and one year of experience working with youth with developmental disabilities; OR Associate's degree and two years of experience working with youth with developmental disabilities; OR High school diploma/GED with four years of experience working with youth with developmental disabilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in dynamic situations
- Current valid driver's license
Hours and Pay
- Monday through Friday; 7:00am-3:00pm
- In school during school days and in residential group homes during vacations, holidays, snow days, etc.
- Pay rate: $25/hr
