Direct Support Professional Residential Floater

About the role

Residential programs located in Albany and Ravena, NY have a full-time, 40-hour Residential DSP Floater position available. The schedule is days/hours that will vary depending on program needs. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities
• Assist people with getting ready for the day or going to bed
• Assist with cooking, cleaning, and medication assistance
• Participate in social/recreational activities in the community

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• No experience necessary
• Must maintain driver insurability
• AMAP/insulin/G-tube certification (if applicable)
