Direct Support Professional - Part Time

About the role

We’re hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on care to individuals in our residential programs across Pennsylvania. As a DSP, you’ll empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently and thrive within their communities. This is a direct care role that requires reliability, empathy, and a heart for service.

Location: Pennsylvania

Work Location: Residential program or intermediate care facility, Pennsylvania

Employment Type: Part-time (the posting also notes Full-time under Work Location)

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision in a residential setting
• Support individuals in achieving independence with daily tasks and routines
• Encourage participation in social and community activities
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being of individuals
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and agency policies
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns to the Program Specialist

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in direct care or behavioral health services
• Familiarity with I/DD populations and residential care settings
