Direct Support Professional -part time

About the Role

Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities, or those in need of neurological rehabilitation. We are looking for part-time Direct Support Professionals in Cherry Hill, NJ, who are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner to autistic, intellectually, and/or developmentally disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Empower adults to develop skills for daily life
• Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
• Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
• Belong to a supportive team that holds one another accountable
• Communicate with residents, families, and guardians

Qualifications

• Are 18 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
• Have a current driver's license in good standing

Pay

$19.06–$19.44 per hour

Schedule

Sunday and Tuesday, 3:00 PM–9:00 PM; Friday and Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
