🚨 Immediate Staffing Need – Northeast Columbus / Off N. Cassady Ave
This assignment starts in April.
Coverage is needed Monday through Sunday.
- 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (On-Site / On-Call)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support during assigned shifts to ensure client safety, comfort, and well-being
- Follow individualized care plans, support strategies, and daily routines
- Administer medications as assigned (Med Admin 1 required)
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, respectful, safe, and supportive home environment
- Observe and report any health, behavioral, or emotional changes
- Auxiliary tasks may include assisting with meals, personal care, household routines, and community-based activities as needed
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and other support personnel
- Remain alert, engaged, and responsive throughout the shift
Requirements
- Medication Administration 1 (Med Admin 1) REQUIRED
- DODD training/certifications REQUIRED
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- BCI/FBI background check
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Professional, respectful, dependable, and attentive at all times
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
What You’ll Be Doing
- Documentation is a critical part of this role. If you didn’t document it, it didn’t happen. Accurate, timely, and detailed documentation is one of the most important responsibilities on every shift.
- First Shift (Day Shift): Assist with morning routines, hygiene, and meals; support daily activities, appointments, and community outings; monitor health status and follow the care plan; complete accurate and timely documentation throughout the shift; maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment
- Second Shift (Evening Shift): Assist with afternoon/evening routines and personal care; prepare and support dinner routines; observe and respond to health or behavioral changes; administer evening medications as assigned; complete detailed shift documentation before the end of the shift; assist with household upkeep
- Third Shift (Night Shift – On-Site / On-Call): Provide overnight supervision and support; remain on-site and available to respond to client needs; monitor for safety, health, and overnight concerns; complete overnight documentation accurately and thoroughly; ensure the home remains safe, calm, and prepared for the next shift

Compensation
$17.00 - $17.75 per hour
