Responsibilities

  • Complete DSPII duties.
  • Monitor food stamps and grocery account, recording and updating attendance sheet daily.
  • Ensure oil changes are completed on a bi-monthly basis at designated repair shop.
  • Affirm yearly tune-up on vehicles occurs each fall.
  • Inspect and record temperatures of refrigerator and freezers on a monthly basis.
  • Change furnace filter monthly.
  • Perform or assist with the purchase of household supplies.
  • Assist Residential Supervisor with duties such as providing input and information for Residential/Social assessments, designing objectives to fit area of need for consumers, providing input on staff evaluations, and ensuring data has been recorded daily and completed at the end of each shift.
  • Support consumers in maintaining their finances by assisting with checkbook balances, reconciling bank statements to checkbook, performing bank transactions with consumers, assisting with bill payments, and documenting money withdrawals and deposits.
  • Review check finance records for accuracy every month.
  • Attend agency staff meetings and participate in agency-sponsored in-service training.
  • Enhance professional development through reading, attending job-related workshops and classes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma, two years of college preferred.
  • Two years experience in working in the human service field.
