Direct Support Professional I - Childrens Congregate Care (3122)

Pay: $22.00-$23.00/hour

Schedule: Wednesday 3pm-11pm, Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 3pm-11pm, Saturday 7am-11pm

About the Role

Join Seven Hills Foundation as a Direct Support Professional I and become part of a compassionate team providing trauma-informed, individualized care to youth with complex medical and behavioral needs. Working in our Medically Complex Behavioral Residence in Groton, Massachusetts, you'll support adolescents ages 12–18 in a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment where every interaction can have a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision, and support to youth in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Build trusting, professional relationships while maintaining healthy boundaries.
• Foster a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment that promotes emotional regulation, social development, and positive behavior.
• Support daily living activities, including meals, personal care, laundry, household chores, and recreational activities.
• Monitor safety, identify potential risks, and respond appropriately to crisis situations using de-escalation techniques and approved physical interventions when necessary.
• Accurately complete shift notes, medication documentation, incident reports, and other required records.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary team members to provide consistent, high-quality care.
• Participate in required trainings and maintain a professional, dependable presence on every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D
• 1 – 3 years of related experience
