About the role
The State of Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with various services and activities. Positions are available in Faribault and Warsaw, MN.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with work, recreation, and daily living activities
- Lift, move, or position non-ambulatory or ambulatory individuals
- Administer medications and respond to medical emergencies
- Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments, community outings, recreational activities, and spiritual events
- Respond therapeutically to individuals with challenging behaviors
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Basic math skills
- Clear communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Preferred candidates have experience working with diverse populations
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures

Schedule
Shifts available: Day, rotating (day/evening combination) OR overnight. Shift differential for hours between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am!
Pay
$21.59 - $28.94 / hourly
