Direct Support Professional - Full Time

About the role

The role involves providing direct support to clients in a professional setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, managing client records, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
• Manage client records including health information, appointments, and progress notes.
• Ensure all services provided are in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.

Skills

• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
